Every now and then a golden opportunity comes along in somebody's lifetime. That's what happened to our Director, Elizabeth Taylor, in 1998.  Officials at The Civic Theatres of Central Florida asked her to "put something together" in a way of entertainment for their Senior audiences.  That was all she needed to hear! The rest is history.

Elizabeth created a group of Senior entertainers, but what has developed since then is quite unique to Orlando and Central Florida entertainment, and it's only the beginning.

The cast now numbers approximately 30 "young at heart" men and women, age 50 plus, who are committed to volunteer their time completely to perform and entertain.

The members are from all walks of life; most are retired, but some are still employed full time.  We spend hours and hours rehearsing - all for the show! We are a determined group of people who want to make a difference.

The Fab Follies cast is the essence of vitality and showmanship. At a time when many folks are winding down and retiring, the members of the Fab Follies are dancing, high kicking, singing, smiling and looking forward to entertaining, and hoping that for a while they will make a few moments of someone else's life a little happier.

As we perform, our voices blend together sweet songs we hope will bring music to your soul.  We hope the tap of our shoes will dance to the beat of your heart. We hope that we send a loud and clear message to those who have entered the "Senior" segment of their lives, that dreams held silent for so long can come alive, hope can be renewed and joy and pleasure can be embraced. It's all about choices.

We, The Fab Follies, have chosen to come together to hopefully enrich the lives of young and old alike, through our spirit and love of song and dance.
